Effects of BEMER® physical vascular therapy in horses under training. A randomized, controlled double blind study
La terapia BEMER utiliza campos electromagnéticos pulsados de baja intensidad, similares a los que se encuentran en un bosque. Sin embargo, por precaución, se desaconseja su uso en las siguientes situaciones:
Personas con implantes médicos activos diseñados para administrar medicamentos, como bombas de medicamentos.
Individuos con implantes médicos activos que generan estimulación, como marcapasos, desfibriladores, estimuladores cerebrales o estimuladores musculares. Esto se considera una contraindicación relativa.
Aquellos que estén siguiendo terapia inmunosupresora después de un trasplante, ya sea de órganos, células alogénicas, médula ósea o células madre.
Además, se debe consultar a un médico en los siguientes casos:
Fiebre de origen desconocido.
Enfermedades infecciosas.
Arritmias graves.
Psicosis graves.
Convulsiones de causa desconocida.
Uso prolongado de antagonistas de los receptores β.
Uso prolongado de corticoides.
Uso prolongado de derivados de la cumarina.
Por otro lado, en el caso de enfermedades que requieran tratamiento inmunosupresor, como enfermedades autoinmunes o dermatológicas, la terapia BEMER no presenta contraindicaciones específicas.
Es importante señalar que, aunque la terapia BEMER se considera no invasiva, es fundamental obtener asesoramiento adecuado antes de utilizarla y estar informado sobre los posibles beneficios y riesgos en función de la situación médica individual, tal como se haría con cualquier otro método terapéutico.
